Is anyone who is running TV-Browser 2.7 under OS 10.5.4 having problems loading data from Schedules Direct?
I cannot even get my channels to load although all of the other plug-ins seems to be working. (FYI, I can download the Schedules Direct data in several Mac-specific programs I tried and also in the Windows version of TV-Browser running under Pandora, just not the native Mac version of TV-Browser.) I posted a message directly on the German TV-Browser-Forum list but didn't get any responses so now I'm trying to see if the problem is just with my setup.
Thanks,
BOB

I think TVBrowser is the application that prompts for "email" when it wants username.
They used to be the same... but now they don't have to be. Always use your username.

Hi
I have exactly the same problem. With the exact details you posted in the tv browser forum. Did you find a solution?

Re: TV-Browser 2.7 on Macintosh
Please try the new release candidate :
http://hilfe.tvbrowser.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11353
Hopefully this will fix all your problems. If not, please try to reduce the amount of days you want to download. The more days you download, the more ram is needed to parse the data.

I still have the same problem. And it occurs while trying to look up the channels. I can't even get to the download.
Re: TV-Browser 2.7 on Macintosh
You have to enter your username, not the email-adress. That's the same login/password you have to enter here : https://www.schedulesdirect.org/login
That's working for me and two other guys I have contact with. Could you retype your login data in the settings of the plugin in tv-browser?

Re: TV-Browser 2.7 on Macintosh
After some more input from bodo, we have found that the problem seems to be that I am running Java 5. I can't run java 6 since i am on a MacBookPro Core Duo (32-bit) and Java 6 on Macs only runs in 64-bit machines.
I will post any new info...

Hi all
Updated to Snow Leopard and now I have Java 6! On a MacBook Pro Core Duo.
I just installed TV-Browser 2.7.4 and doownloaded 2 days worth of listings. So, after more than a year, I can use TV-Browser!
