WhatsOn - how to use ?

Post by rawsonboy »

How exactly do I get the WhatsOn.XML file that I can then use with WhatsOn ?

The documentation from zookware.com still referes to Zap2It.

Thanks.

I don't think that's an active application. Not sure why its listed. Try PTVB.

I agree. I used WhatsOn since 1999 from its early days when it used scrapers that frequently got broken before it was changed to use Zap2It. It was never strongly supported by its author. When a scraper would break it always took a very long time before an update would come out.

I tried and switched to using Pocket TV Browser last December (ironically, another program that hasn't been actively supported by the author since it switched to Zap2It) and it is head over heels better. Its capabilities leave WhatsOn in the dust.

Because someone asked and a quick look showed it met the requirements.
