I have been using Wirns with Schedules Direct for over a decade, so I am pretty familiar with using it. I was having a problem with DVArchive retrieving a current guide from Wirns, so tried a few things to no avail. Then found Wirns could no longer connect with Schedules Direct while trying to do a guide update. I tried a few fresh brand new installs of Wirns from scratch, and same thing. The error from the debug log is: [11/26/2024 14:52:58] Error while downloading Schedules Direct listings (ack): Unable to connect to the remote server. The link on the Wirns Guide Data Configuration page will take me to SchedulesDirect.org and my IP address is correct (and pings okay). Telnet shows it connects to Schedulesdirect.org on port 80 without an error. I triple checked my login name and password. Is it possible that it is something on Schedules Direct End? Any ideas?

Looking at your SD account (same username), I do see successful downloads by WiRNS as of yesterday. So, I'm not sure the problem is WINS talking to SD, but WIRNS talking to the ReplayTVs.

Thanks Robert. I must have tried a dozen manual updates in the last two days, with all of them having connect errors. After reading your reply last night I checked to see if the latest scheduled update had gone through. And lo and behold it did! I had changed nothing, so I am unsure of what the problem was or is. I have another scheduled update at 10:15am CT this morning, and I will wait and see if it connects. Thanks again.
