yea yea.. the job died.. I don't remember seeing an email with an error.. looks like it just stopped.
These things happen.. I'm sure it will run tomorrow. Data that far out isn't very accurate anyway.

No new data this morning July 28, 2015. The download logs say data exists until 2015-08-12T11:17:03Z (UTC)
but there is no data after 08-08 20:00 EDT

Re: No new data - started July 19
(update: DOH.. you sent the above note at 6:30 in the morning.. nothing would have changed as the data load starts around 9am CDT)
(update2: it says data was requested until 8/12.. not that data exists )
Database shows the load when smooth this morning.
I just did a download from my personal account and see data to 2015-08-10:23:30Z

This afternoon's run log shows an ending date of 2015-08-12T19:19:28Z (UTC)
The actual data only goes to 08-10:20:00 (EDT) or 08-11:00:00 (UTC)
Something's wrong with the actual data period values in the download log.

No, you're interpreting it wrong. The header doesn't show the amount of data available, it shows your request.onevista wrote:This afternoon's run log shows an ending date of 2015-08-12T19:19:28Z (UTC)

Your application is simply requesting more data than is available.

No new data today Wed Jul 29, 2015 at 16:50 EDT Maybe it will catch up tomorrow.
My interpretation of the word actual means exactly that.. The actual data retrieved. If you expect it to be interpreted as 'requested' then it should say that.
It appears the download includes a date field that MythFillDB displays as actual. Maybe you should set that field correctly in your output. It easy, here's the pseudo code:
MIN_date = BIG_DATE
MAX_date = 0
for each record
If date < MIN_date set MIN_date equal to date
else if date > MAX_date set MAX_DATE equal to date
at end use MIN_date and MAX_date for the values in the 'actual' string

Re: No new data - started July 19
Thanks for the code sample... only problem is when I have to generate the XTVD header, I haven't read anything from the database yet, so there's nothing to max.
Re: No new data - started July 19
I guess the actual/requested problem is not fixable. Too bad.
Anyway, new data has not been delivered on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Earlier days were also not delivered, but I don't remember a pattern. Have you gone to only updating every other day?

Data loaded properly today. 2015-08-12T00:00 UTC.
Data loads every day. Yes, there are problems sometimes.. randomly.
I don't see why you're fixating on data 13 days from today... it's not very accurate anyway.
