Guideddata for Madam Secretary and The Good Wife showed them starting 1 hour later than they really started on Jan 11.
Madam Secretary usually starts at 8PM; the guide data showed it starting at 9PM.
The good wife usually starts at 9PM; the guide data showed it starting at 10PM.
As a consequence, the record that claimed it was a "Madam Secretary" episode contains a "Good wife" episode.
Channel KPIXDT / 705. Comcast. Area code 95014.
Everything else looks good.
Any help would be appreciated!

was it a one time thing or is that station always off?
Could there have been an earlier sports event that caused a shift?
It could have just been a last minute change by the network or station.

Thanks for the quick response.
There was an NFL game scheduled to end at 3PM that day. Perhaps it ended earlier than expected and threw everything off?
Another odd thing is that the guide data shows 2 episodes of 60-minute starting at 7PM and 8PM that evening. One is listed as a rerun and the other is listed as a new episode. Perhaps only one ran?
Not sure what to do at this point other than wait to see if it happens again?
This is the first time I have seen this happen. The next new episode for both shows is several weeks out, so I can't tell if it is going to happen again at this time.rmeden wrote:was it a one time thing or is that station always off?
The shows started at their normal times -- the problem was the guide data listing them as starting 1-hour late.rmeden wrote:Could there have been an earlier sports event that caused a shift?

If other shows on that station are ok (what's on now, for example), it was probably just a last minute change and nothing to worry about.

I also saw this issue, and reported this via the lineup issue feature (#12107).
According to my logs, the programs were originally scheduled at the right times, but then it was changed 3 days ahead of the broadcast to the erroneous time slots. I haven't seen this happen again, and subsequent recordings on other days seem to be fine.

I scheduled an episode of Scorpion to record last night. The first 15 minutes or so was the tail end of a sports show. The rest of the time slot was the correct show.
So it looks like the problem was caused by an earlier sports show over running it's estimate time slot.
I think we can consider this "solved"...
Thanks for all the help!
