Well I have rejoined the fold and just resubscribed. It seems that the Silicon Dust DVR Service's promise exceeds its present reality. IMHO it does not work as advertised, except on specific, limited hardware configurations. As such, I am going to remain with NextPVR and my Schedules Direct EPG which is far more versatile, apparently, than what SD is offering me.

As someone who only just recently picked up a used HDhomerun for my Jellyfin server, I'm perfectly content with $35/year. This service makes it easy for the wife to get her shows in the bedroom where we don't currently have a cable run, and provides a hassle free means of self-hosted DVR. Streaming services have gotten way out of hand with every major corporation out for our money, and I've been toning them down drastically in favor of self-hosted, this just adds even more functionality to that.
