Unannounced service outage?

I am getting response code 3000 - Server offline for maintenance messages.

I assume everyone has the same problem. At least I got a real-world test of Typecast's ability to handle the server being offline. (It succeeded, but it needs to delay for an hour, not just a few minutes.)

No, it (the March 18th, not this April 17th one) was not announced. But nice try.

Is anyone else still having issues? I see that the announcement says "2020-04-20 @ 04:25. Service restored".

I use the tv_grab_zz_sdjson with MythTV and as of now (10:20 EDT) it's still failing as it has since 4/19 with an unexpected end of file:

As of 9:30 a.m., CDT I'm still getting "Error 255" and "unexpected end of file" when trying to update with tv_grab_zz_sdjson. I also tried to configure the grabber to see if that would help and got "Invalid status response" to the GET request repeatedly until the retry limit was exceeded.

The automated system check (used for the schedulesdirect home page) is also reporting the service is still down. I'll let RobertK know.

Still down as of 11:12 AM CDT. Is there a communication plan to acknowledge this extended outage and estimate an ETA?

The last forum communication from SchedulesDirect says the service is up and other than the web page banner there is no communication regarding the extended outage? Am I looking in the wrong place?

a little over an hour before your post I confirmed it's still down.

I also added a news item to the SD home page.
