Trouble with two grabbers in one DB

Post by cormanaz »

Hi. New to XMLTV and trying to configure it with two grabbers, cable and ota, supported by one DB. I run

Code: Select all

tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --manage-lineups --config-file $HOME/.mythtv/cable.xmltv
Select the cable lineup and initialize the DB. Then I run

Code: Select all

tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --configure --config-file $HOME/.mythtv/cable.xmltv
Tell it yes I want the lineup then run

Code: Select all

tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite --days 0 --config-file $HOME/.mythtv/cable.xmltv
I look at the channels using a sqllite3 query and everything is there.

Now I repeat the process for --config-file $HOME/.mythtv/ota.xmltv, adding an OTA lineup, saying yes to it and no to the cable lineup in the configure step. Now I look at the channels again, all the right OTA channels are there but a bunch (but not all) of the cable channels are missing.

What am I doing wrong? Should I have a separate DB for each grabber?

There's a chance the tv_grab_zz_sdjson author will post, but your best bet is to open an XMLTV github ticket or post in the XMLTV-USERS mailing list.

I posted a ticket on their git repository.
