Re: State of SD?

slim: i didnt ask to have the price lowered, i only asked if it was. Im fine with the price as it is also, Im more concerned of the price going up than going down. Thats why i refered to the cost of running SD. We hadnt heard anything offical in quite a while. I believe theres nothing wrong with as...

Re: Will not pay for listings

This was the first of the attack post about the cost of the SD Listings. It was 5 months ago. Now we still have people asking about the cost. This is why get so angry about this nonsense. Thank you folks at SD for not saying "screw this whole thing it isn't worth it". I don't think I could take this...

Re: State of SD?

Also your Mixed Emotions post you started were you go into how SD was stock piling the funds instead of lowering prices shows were you are at in this thing.

The price of SD's listings are fine.

Re: State of SD?

So when are you lowering the price again? :D Not that I care because, personally money is no object. You see, I live in my mom's basement and don't date. I enjoy being self-centered and exposing the public to my view of the world. So I respectfully request that SD keep the price as is so the whiner...

Re: State of SD?

I for one think the price is fine and would be a whole lot happier if people didn't keep bringing it up. $20 per year is fine and if anyone possibly thinks that it should be even lower then let them design their own system. Oh sure we will get a "oh I didn't mean anything by it" or "hey I have a rig...

Re: Repeats Don't Show

I want to add my vote to leave the new system as is. It is much easier to find new shows now.

Re: Reruns?

I use MythTV and after getting used to the new system I prefer it. I find the "New" flag only much easier to find shows I want to watch. By the way it seems that TV Guide and others have also changed this. As said before, MythTV works fine finding repeats using the ID. I just flag the show to always...

Re: To all those involved with SD:

I would pay $10 a month for this and I'm unemployed. In addition to some who have attacked SD over charging for the service that they think should be free, they also attack TMS for providing the service in the past and then stopping the service. Keep in mind that TMS did give us the listings for fre...

Re: please be real

I think it is in the best interest of Schedules Direct to put some capital, and perhaps effort, in federal lobbying to help insure they retain access to the schedules information on which we depend. Like most things it's much more complicated than one might suppose. Lot's of folks have had the same...

Re: please be real

Now I'm thoroughly confused. Are you saying that SD should strive to compete head to head with TMS? Hmm... The alcohol must be affecting my judgement here. Join the crowd I think rshendershot likes to confuse rather than discuss. His statement seemed unreadable to me also. Which lead to a lot of mi...
