Error: Use of uninitialized value in concatenation

After many months, this error started poping up. Any Idea's I run a dos batch file to grab the listings into an xml file. I then process the information via VB6 into a database which is then read via a web browser. Steve WARNING: multiple channel mappings for '' Use of uninitialized value in concate...

Re: Windows app that exports for use in Excel?

However, always felt that a pro-active method of TV Listing look up was desirable. This allows me to update the data on Sat and produce a listing for the coming week. I check this against my repeat programmed devices. I know it's fun to write your own, but FYI.. that's what TV_CHECK (part of XMLTV)...

Re: Windows app that exports for use in Excel?

Does anyone know if any of the approved apps. (that run on windows) will save or export the listing data into a delimited text file that I can use to import into Excel? Ex: start date/time, length, channel, title, episode title, etc.etc. It’s a bit of a kluge, but I already have a handful of Excel mac...

I got the same error with those options. Guess the site has a problem.

XMLTV Error

I'm using XMLTV 0.5.48 and downloaded and set up 0.5.49 and got the following error. I then went back to my .48 copy and got the same error. This (48) worked fine on Monday Morning. Insight? Thanks Steve D:\VB\TV Search\XMLTV\XMLTV>xmltv tv_grab_na_dd -output feed.xml -days 1 Timezone is -0400 addin...

Re: Cost

I am just blown away by all the people complaining about the price. A reliable epg source is the key to the entire PVR experience. What is the alternative? Download new scrapers every month (assuming someone will continue to develop them)? Spending an hour a week manually programming your PVR like ...

Re: Differences between Data Direct and Zap2IT Labs

Perhaps the reason I am more confused by this than others is because I have some different interests. For example, my personal program maintains a list of several thousand movie identifiers for movies I have already seen or never want to see. So, instead of having to plow through a list of 500 movi...

Re: Gray Areas

Lets say I have 2-3 standalone mythboxes in my home (no dedicated back-end server) and wish to receive listing data on each of them under 1 account, is this permissible under the license agreement? Yes. There is no restriction within your household. Now lets say me and 2 of my friends each have our...
