Re: Sweeping Channel Changes Pending
Since the Fresno, CA area Comcast is keeping the old numbers and has added the 1000 range my hope is that in my area the Schedule Direct data keeps the 1-999 format so I don't have to reschedule everything. That means starting over with several hundred programs.

Fresno Comcast feed - Digital
Lost Girl: Like Hell on April @ 10 pm is for Part 2 of a 2 Part which should be for Part 1. This is causing Part 2 on April 24 not to show. This show is not on On-Demand ether so if it isn't fixed by the 24th I will have to watch live. I was finally able to find this on the channel page and resubmit...

Re: Recording digital channels from my cable provider
I your cable provider is Comcast you can request to swap you cable box to the Motorola 6200 and use the Firewire port to link them. It will change the channel and everything. Then leave the rest of your setup the same and you will just have the cable channels listed.

Re: why fewer subscribers? and the future
I find MythTV better than ever for HD and I pretty much only record HD. I use Firewire to the Comcast Motorola 6200 box for about 130 channels including local and 2 lines from an antenna to an HDHomerun to triple the amount of local channels I can record. I then schedule everything even if I am plan...

You can also Connect & change channels by Firewire if you use the Motorola 6200 cable box. This won't do Scrabbled channels but you will able to do HD & SD channels (including local) if they are not Premium (scrabbled) channels.
See the Myth sites for help on this.

Re: Advertising to Help Offset Costs ??
It is really interesting on how many people who use open source projects don't really understand the principle behind them. With commercial software you pay for the right to ask for a refund, complain about things that don't work and use another product when that fails. With Open Software you may pa...

Re: How do I import SD guide data into MCE 2005?
If you have the funds you might consider building a dedicated MythUbuntu box hooked to a HDTV as a monitor as a main Home Theater system. I was using WME for a while but find the Linux based MythTV much more dynamic. I am recommending it to anyone who will listen. You do need to make sure you find L...

Re: DOES NOT WORK!
You need to stop yelling man. Your lucky you got a reply. Most people are much more hostile over this kind of disrespect to people donating there time to Open Source projects and won't tolerate shouting in all caps. You spent $5 which is the fee to test SD and the Open Source software or your choice...

Re: Renewal time?
I just renewed and wanted to thank you for your first year of this valuable service. My new job means going to bed at 9pm to get up at 4am (tree fruit sales data analysis) and being able to record my 9-10pm is a great joy to me. It makes me feel that I don't just work, eat and sleep when I can just ...
