Reporting incorrect listing data?

Is there a good way to report incorrect listing data, and if so, is it useful? Yesterday, our MythTV box recorded an episode of Top Chef "Chef Overboard". The title of the episode was correct, but the description (which talked about the "final 3 chefs" when there were 7) was completely wrong. If I w...

Re: Cost

I would much prefer to pay the $5 and run my own box than pay $5 for a DVR from my cable company, because I get to control it, what software it runs, what hardware it contains, what information it reports about my viewing habits, etc.

Re: labs.Zap2It.com Subscription renew - extended to 2007/11/30

For example, on my backend system, it reports: Last mythfilldatabase run started on 2007-08-18 00:03 and ended on 2007-08-18 00:03. Successful. Suggested next mythfilldatabase run: 2007-08-18 12:13. There's guide data until 2007-09-01 03:00 (8 days). DataDirect Status: Your subscription expires on ...

Re: MythTV Trunk vs .20 fixes vs xmltv

I admit I have not looked closely at the database itself. The time I noticed it saying it was updating the database was the first time I ran the new version. I forget whether I had switched listings at that point, but I didn't think it mattered. I know in the logs it showed updating the database, an...

Re: Improvements For This Forum

As a different question -- what is supposed to happen when you "subscribe" to a topic? I had expected to get emails of new posts, but as yet have not been getting them (though the forum does change to showing me an unsubscribe link, so it obviously knows I'm subscribed to particular topics).

Re: MythTV Trunk vs .20 fixes vs xmltv

To handle the data migration, I switched from packaged MythTV to .20-fixes. I can tell you that the current code works, and will update your database for you. (In fact, it took a while -- I, sitting there, trying to figure out what it was doing when I realized that's what it was doing). I only use o...

Re: how's it going?

So since my last post to this forum, I've upgraded all the software on the box, and switched to subversion for MythTV, using the 0.20-fixes branch. Once I got everything compiled and installed, things mostly just worked. First, I went in and added a second listings source, so it would be easy to go ...

How soon do payments get reflected on SD website?

About 10 minutes ago, I paid for the 3 month non-recurring membership. I did so by clicking on the link on the "My Account" page. I have a receipt from PayPal for the payment, but the SD website does not reflect the payment (it still shows both a trial period, and an expiration date within a week). ...

Re: how's it going?

For San Diego 92122, there are two listings for Time Warner Cable. They contain almost exactly the same channels. I will need to figure out which one is correct to make sure I'm using the right one. As for the switch itself, since the Debian Mythtv packages do not yet support SD, I'm currently in th...
