We don't have a timeline for retirement of the old API.
There are two existing API's the XMLTV tv API and the JSON API. Are you referring to both of these?

Extending Sports

I am running into a couple of problems with extending sports using the https://json.schedulesdirect.org/20141201/metadata/stillRunning call 1. I am getting a 400 bad request return on a valid (I believe) request. The reason I believe it is valid is in the 400 response I am seeing the API response fo...

Re: Sports Auto-Extend Failing on NextPVR

I see that that the current active NFL game

https://json.schedulesdirect.org/201412 ... 3666130000

is returning 6001 ater the scheduled stop time and after the games ended.

EPG update queued but no data.

I am not seeing new data on my stations, ie { "stationID": "73010", "serverID": "20141201.web.1", "code": 7100, "response": "SCHEDULE_QUEUED", "message": "The schedule you requested has been queued for generation but is not yet ready for download. Retry." } { "stationID": "83063", "serverID": "20141...

Please don't change the programID since that will mean all the unique identifiers for past shows may get broken. If a sequential reference is needed consider a new field.

Re: Has SchedulesDirect stopped supporting WinXP?

Can NextPVR accept an XMLTV feed? If so, you can use an XMLTV utility to get data from SD-JSON or SD-DD (if in the US/Canada) Aside from the minor inconvenience setting up the issue for me is it is not not a 100% replacement as users will lose their art downloading and sports extending functionalit...

Re: Has SchedulesDirect stopped supporting WinXP?

It isn't NextPVR as much as .NET. It is something about TLS 1.0 negation that is failing in IE and .NET on XP. I suspect SD is no longer supporting 3DES ciphers which I think should be turned back on for paying customers.

Re: DataDirect replacement service going live!

rkulagow wrote:The JSON service does not use a web page to add / delete lineups; that's all done through your client.
if the lineup profile(s), not channels, can get migrated and saved to the ss-dd server it seems logical to me that json users could benefit from this too.

rmeden wrote:If you go to the SD web page, click edit lineup, and then save, the sd-dd server should be updated. This has to be done before 11/1, or you'll have to manually edit your channels.
Does this apply to json users too? Does this avoid manually adding each lineup?
