Re: SD Swag

Juski already offers mythtv case badges and pretty nice they are too - I've got them on all my frontends and backends.

Re: Cant find schedulasdirect in mythtv

20.20060828-4 << This is the library API version NOT the application version. Either way it's not 0.20.2 either (That's 0.20 28th Aug 2006)

You need to install updated packages for 0.20.2.

Re: Cant find schedulasdirect in mythtv

Have you upgraded to 0.20.2 (or trunk)?

If so, have you checked the full grabber list? Scroll up as well as down.

If that doesn't help, then please post the full output from "mythfrontend --version" (or mythbackend) because chances are that you don't actually have 0.20.2 installed.

Re: MythTV Howto?

StuartM, Thanks for the info. I recompiled and installed and it works now. So how do you get the "REAL" version if --version does not show accurate information? From 0.20.2 I changed the version output to include better information and tried to get the packagers to be more consistent with their ver...

Re: MythTV Howto?

wheniwork, your problem is that isn't 0.20.2

You may be confused by some bad package naming. Some packagers called the second version of their 0.20 package 0.20-2 which is not 0.20.2 at all.

Re: Advertising to Help Offset Costs ??

Embedding advertising in an open source application is a non-starter, it would be far too easy to remove. If people didn't want to pay for the data then they would be unlikely to tolerate the advertising. Patches to disable it would be available on the mailing lists within minutes. Don't forget to c...

Well forgive me, being an Englishman I didn't know that this Monday was the equivalent of a Bank Holiday in the U.S.A ;)

It's a weekend, I wouldn't expect anything to happen until Monday at the earliest.

Re: How many subscribers will it take?

You don't need a Paypal account to pay through Paypal. No registration is required, although the option to register remains should you want to leave your account details on file for easier payment in future.

Re: SD not in grabber list?

Just for future reference, could you post the full output of --version? The library API version isn't much good on it's own, it doesn't tell us which version is being used. 0.20-svn20070122-0.0ubuntu6 would be the development version (aka svn trunk or 0.21). Anyone finding that SD doesn't appear in ...
