cool. it works for me. I replaced my batch file xmlt command line with that and it works. You guys are GREAT!!!!

All PTVB users can use the xmltv command: xmltv tv_grab_na_dd --auto-config add --days 14 --output <XXXXX#.xml>

It works :)

Robert: does this automatically update the xmltv config file by both adding and removing channels based on the website settings?

IIRC it only does it for new stations... which is really all that's necessary. If SD doesn't send new stations nothing will be output in the XMLTV file for it.

I can't thank you all enough!!! I've spent the last two days trying to get my program to work by trying to understand and use the info provided on this site. But I'm just not knowledgable enough to figure it out. No idea what a batch file even is. Thank goodness I found the workaround of changing the username in Schedules Direct. I followed all the directions and almost wept for joy when it all worked!!! That TVtweak sounds neat, but I'm happy for now just to have my PTVBrowser working again. Thanks to all of you, and especially Robert, Xris, any other SD folk, and all the others of you who are helping to get all of us and running again.

FWIW, I use a batch file to handle PTVB downloads etc. I notice that while my subscription has been extended on the SchedDir account site, it still says "Dec 6th" after downloading(on my batch file).
What's up with that?
Thanks

I'm getting lots of support emails for PTVB. Can someone familiar with the process write up a nice topic with the easiest way to do it and post it to the forum.

Take into account that usernames are no longer email addresses.

I'll make it a "sticky"

Other topics (this one for example), can include details like playing with config files / batch files / etc

I apologize for not making myself clearer. I don't mean the batch file itself but rather the dos window that opens during downloading. That still says my subscription ends on Dec. 6th.
