Ratings?

(I'm sure that this is really a Tribune issue, but I don't know how to talk to them.)
I've noticed a very few surprising ratings for movies. For example, MV003247430000, is a non-descript movie called "Class". IMDB entry: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1563711/.
SD gives it 3.5 stars, a quite high rating. How did it earn that? IMDB says this TV movie is 6.5/10.
I know rating is hard and subjective. I'm just getting a funny feeling because CIT (a Canadian cable channel about religion) has had more than one of these surprisingly highly rated movies. I've certainly got very little data.
