Primetime Shows preempted Local/Network News

Post by djroketboy » Wed Oct 31, 2012 12:32 pm

I think I know the answer to this, but want to ask just to be sure. I am on the east coast on Verizon FiOS, I didn't lose power, but all shows on Monday were preempted by local and network news. I run MythTV, and normally I can run "mythfilldatabase --refresh 0" it will update all guide data for "today". I have run this both Monday and Tuesday now and not seeing the programs update. Last night it recorded "Go On" and I found myself watching a NBC News Special Report on Sandy.

Is this the stations not updating SD in time, or a MythTV issue...

I suspect the stations never updated Tribune, or at least didn't do it on time.

What did zap2it.com or tvguide.com show?

Yeah, that is what I was suspecting, that they didn't update the guides...

Thanks
