I saw the announcement for QAM tables. Where are they posted?
Also what is the definition for 'headend'?

If a QAM map is available for your headend, then you will see an additional column on the lineup editor web page that will allow you to download it.

A headend is the collection of channels / stations that you receive from your provider. It used to be closely tied to geography, but we've found that industry consolidation and fiber/coax means that the channel lineup that's accurate for you may have a geo location that is 100 miles away.
