tv_grab_zz_sdjon_sqlite with multiple zipcodes?

Post by jfaberna » Mon Sep 23, 2019 11:30 am

With my account I have setup just one zipcode to pull scheduling data for Mythtv using tv_grab_zz_sdjon_sqlite.

If I setup another computer running Mythtv in another location with another zipcode can I setup the additional zipcode without creating problems with my main Mythtv or any SD T's & C's?

The second system could be a portable system for use when traveling.

No problem on the SD side.. that's one of the things multiple lineups are for.

I think with tv_grab_zz_sqlite, it will only generate data for one lineup... the one in it's config file.. so that's good too!

The latest versions of tv_grab_zz_sdjson_sqlite supports combining multiple lineups into a common output xmltv file if needed/desired. This was added initially/primarily for the SD (the *other* SD - SiliconDust) HDHR Premium TV OTT service (since terminated since the upstream was shutdown) which shared an OTA and a OTT service on the same tuner.

However, in this case, I think (maybe) a single lineup at each location is what would be wanted.
