Lineup off by 1 hour

Post by beckes » Mon Oct 22, 2007 11:34 pm

My lineups show everything 1 hour later than the time it's really showing at. For example, a show that is actually on at 8pm is listed in the schedule as showing at 9pm. If I watch said show at 8pm, it will tell me that I'm watching the show that was on an hour previously. This applies to *all* my channels.

I'm using KnoppMyth 5F27 and using the MythTV internal grabber. The time that MythTV shows as the current time is correct, it's just everything in the schedule that is shifted 1 hour off.

I used the provided script KnoppMyth-tz and according to it I have it set to the correct timezone (Alaska), and the time is correct.

I don't know if it's a linux / time setting issue or if there's something off with the lineup (AK50401: GCI Cable Anchorage AK)

oops! fixed my problem,

the command "mythfilldatabase --refresh-all" caused it to re-retrieve the EPG with correct times. I must have changed the timezone after retrieving the EPG for the first time, and you need to manually tell it to refresh.

I am having the same problem. Where do you enter that command?

Nevermind!! I had the wrong darn time zone in my .conf file.
