editing the hosts file

Post by macgrant » Mon Nov 10, 2014 8:10 pm

The forum says to add this to my Mac hosts file:
54.85.117.227 docs.tms.tribune.com webservices.schedulesdirect.tmsdatadirect.com
but this doesn't look like a valid entry. There are 2 addresses after the IP address and all the entries I've seen only have 1. And my hosts.prefpane won't accept this format. Is there a typo? Or am I just missing the obvious?
Thanks,
David

I've never seen an OS that doesn't allow multiple hostnames on a hosts file line. If yours causes a problem simply start another line with the same IP address and the other host name.
