There are some channels in the scan that aren't in the lineup; "lcn" is the channel number from the set top box. Are all these channels actually tunable? If they are, then we need to get the lineup updated as well.

At first I thought you meant "are all these channels ClearQAM tunable", but then after looking at the list and comparing to my media center guide, I realize you mean even with a CableCARD tuner.

The answer is mostly yes.
Exceptions:
49 (Weather Scan)
71 (ESPN Classic)
143 (SOAP net)
197 (Fear Net) -- I remember a recent mailing about this one, maybe it is coming soon and is there as a placeholder?
1002 (ESPN 3D) - maybe just not a 3D event airing right now?
591 (Outdoor HD) - this is tunable, but brings up a screen that says "The Outdoor Channel is no longer available on FIOS TV".

There are some that I get a Subscription Required error (RAI, TVBe, the ESPN PPV channels, Univision tlNovelas, and the 2 Papal channels), but the others work. The interesting thing is most of them are missing from the Rovi guide data in WMC as well, so this must have something to do with the list provided by FIOS upstream?

A lot of them are also redundant, like 470 is the same as 521, and 163 is the same as 166 - maybe some kind of prep for moving channels numbers around?

So there are a few balls in the air right now.

1: We want to get the lineup to be accurate (the -X). So, with the above exceptions, your channel dump said that you get channel 49. But it's not in the lineup. Does it need to be added (you didn't include comments, so I wasn't sure)
2: We want the QAM lineup to be accurate as well (the -QAM). The channel dump had a lot of channels in it; typically most providers only have 20-30 that are available via Clear QAM. Are all of the channels available via Clear QAM without an M-Card? Because if yes, then that's awesome. If not, then I'd need a list of channels that you can pickup via clear QAM.

Also, the best way to continue this is via our standard trouble ticket process. Can you open a lineup support issue so that it's properly tracked?

Created support ticket for the -X lineup.

For the QAM lineup, there are if I am counting right 205 unencrypted ClearQAM tunable channels out of the 906 in the CableCARD channel map. I'll have to write something to compile a list of which 205 those are. (80 of them are ads, another ~30 or so of are local origination/public access).

Edit: made a quick and dirty app to find the 205 channels, and looking at them, realized that the 205 number is temporarily inflated because they have some kind of special going on right now where for example all the Cinemax channels are unencrypted, and can be viewed with ClearQAM. Created a ticket with the list for the QAM lineup.
