Image Content Type return by Amazon S3

Image Content Type return by Amazon S3

When you make a request for an image you get the following Content Type
Content-Type: binary/octet-stream

Some applications verify the content type of the url to decide if the object is an image, is it possible for the content type to be
Content-Type: image/{format}

I'll have to see if that's something that can be changed; once you've gotten the 303 to S3 I'm not sure that there's much that I can do. Let me check the documentation.

Do you use the web service?
If so it seems that when you send a PUT request to the server you need to put its content type in the header if not it defaults to bynary

Thanks; I've got the content headers setup now, so I'll be refreshing starting with the station logos.

Please let me know if you're seeing the correct type for station logos.

I did get the correct image type from a get request to a channel with a logo, but it seems that a lot of channel lost their logo info example:
418: {
stationID: "60048"
name: "Cartoon Network HD"
callsign: "TOONHD"
broadcastLanguage: [1]
0: "en"
-
descriptionLanguage: [1]
0: "en"
-
broadcaster: {
city: "Atlanta"
state: "GA"
postalcode: "30318"
country: "United States"
}-
}
used to have a logo and now it doesn't.
maybe it is part of the process of putting new images in the server?

Yes; now that I know that the image type is correct I'll finish updating everything.

Perfect!!
There are still a few without images but those never had any to begin with.
For those channels without images are they being tracked to add them in the future or a community project to collect those that are missing?
