I've converted over the "get" "schedules". But now it's bed time; please take a look and let me know that it's working ok. If yes, then I'll convert over the other routines which have been sending .zip files.

At this point, programs, schedules and metadata have been converted over.

OK, I believe that all routines that sent .zip files are now converted to sending a JSON response with a link. Can you please verify.

EDIT: May have converted _too_ much; calls to get a list of Headends are now also going to S3, and that may not be the best way to do things. What would be preferred from a client standpoint?

Headends wasn't zipped before, right? If it was a zip file response, send it to s3. If it wasn't, don't send it to s3.

I believe that this is now back to what it used to be.

Requests that return a link to a S3 file:
"get" "metadata"
"get" "programs"
"get" "schedules"
"get" "lineups"

get->lineups command is returning a zip file and not a json pointer to s3. Last attempted at 14:10 EST.

I was still typing and hadn't synced with the beta server. Can you test now?

Executing the "get" "headends" call will return all of the headends in a postal code (or just the subscribed ones if you send nothing)
"get" "lineups" for a particular headend will return the mapping of channels and stationIDs.

I just tested both and it worked with my perl client; "headends" was json text. Lineups (for my IL57303 headend) was a json response with a pointer to a .zip file on S3.

Excellent. hall5714, if your client is also good, then I'm going to move to production by 2013-02-27@9A CST.
