First shown dates for non series movies

Just made the switch to schedules direct for my WIndows Media Center a month ago. I'm very happy with the change... One thing I'm missing is the first shown date for movies (such as on The Hallmark Channel).
Is there a way to get that data to display in the show details? It helps when looking for new movies amidst the plethora of old ones.

Thanks

John

Not really answering the question as to why, but for MV (MoVies) program types, there is a year (of the movie release) in the data, but no OriginalAirDate. Only SHows and EPisode program types have (optionally) OriginalAirDate. TV Movies (which is what these examples are) are always special.....
