Sub channels, all programs listed same as primary channel

Postby jcalder0 » Thu Jul 23, 2015 10:30 am

A new installation of NPVR 3.4.8 with SD added for guide service. Windows 8.1 Pro with MC, up to date. Replacing MC.--------The Guide is full but the programs displayed in the guide are the information for the number .1, the primary channel numbers. That is X.1, X.2, X.3, X.4, etc. all have the same programs listed as for X.1. In this example X.2, X.3, and X.4 have the wrong information for the respective channel sub numbers. I tried changing one set of channel by renumbering them from 3.1 to 301, 302 303, etc. in NPVR. After an EPG update this didn't change the program information for those channlels.

Not sure how that's happening. I pulled your lineup, and it looks like this:

Code: Select all
{
    "map": [
        {
            "stationID": "20492",
            "uhfVhf": 17,
            "atscMajor": 3,
            "atscMinor": 1
        },
        {
            "stationID": "42697",
            "uhfVhf": 17,
            "atscMajor": 3,
            "atscMinor": 2
        },
        {
            "stationID": "42700",
            "uhfVhf": 17,
            "atscMajor": 3,
            "atscMinor": 3
        },

<snip>

So each of the 3.x subchannels have different stationIDs, and therefore different schedules.

If you send me a message to rkulagow@gmail.com we can troubleshoot further, because troubleshooting in the forum isn't private.
