deaf signed

XMLTV supports "deaf-signed" as a subtitle type. Is this available in the JSON feed? A tv_grab_sd_json user asked me if this could be supported. As an example, he indicated that many programs on BBC 2 in the late night/early morning are deaf signed. These are marked with "SL" on the following listin...

Re: tv_grab_sd_json added to the XMLTV project

It's pushing out "Original Airdate" as "2016" on every show and movie. First noticed it on Stargate SG-1, but it's doing it on all of them. Was not doing this when I used the mfdb-json utility. I think this may actually be a bug in MythTV. The XMLTV parser in MythTV sets the originalairdate from th...

Re: Best Grabber For MediaPortal and SD

Can you tell me the commands needed to view a sampling of the sat data from say 101°W? Did you mange to get perl installed and tv_grab_sd_json running? After you have done this the first step is to create a configuration file for tv_grab_sd_json. This can be done in a Windows command prompt with a ...

Re: Best Grabber For MediaPortal and SD

On the JSON side, we have FTA satellite lineups. But, that gets you JSON data, and you would need to put it into MediaPortal. There was a MP dev that was creating a grabber, but I don't know how far along he got. I got curious what FTA lineups SD has. After some searching it seems country code "ZZZ...

Re: Best Grabber For MediaPortal and SD

Will this grabber work with a WIN10 OS ? I expect it could work in Windows 10. I actually just got it to run in Windows 7 for the first time today. However, at this point installation and setup on Windows is not straightforward. Eventually if the grabber is added to the official XMLTV it would get ...

Radio Channels on Sky UK

As reported on the XMLTV mailing list (http://sourceforge.net/p/xmltv/mailman/message/34121959/), the radio channels for Sky UK lineups should begin with a zero. For example "BBC Radio 1" in the stations array of lineup GBR-0001505-DEFAULT: {"stationID":"24434","name":"BBC Radio 1","callsign":"BBCR1...

Re: International lineups

Please see http://forums.schedulesdirect.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2645 for the new call that returns available data. That was quick! I didn't even make an official feature request yet. I look forward to trying our the new API. For now I think I want to finish what I am working on with the old 20140...

Re: Implementations of API-20140530

I have been working on an XMLTV grabber for the JSON API. I just posted an early version on GitHub:

https://github.com/kgroeneveld/tv_grab_na_sd_json

There is some very minimal documentation in the tv_grab_na_sd_json file. Comments and feedback welcome. I am an XMLTV and Perl newbie.

Re: token lifespan

So what happens if a user has two applications setup for the same account and they both try to update around the same time? When the second requests a token wouldn't the first applications token become invalid which could cause problems if it isn't finished yet?
