Re: Two tuners on same cable box...

I just find it odd that GB-PVR has a feature that MYTH doesn't... Heh, well MythTV has some features for keeping your lineups in sync with the lineups on Labs, but of course this becomes a problem when you attach more than one MythTV lineup to a Labs lineup. These features are disabled in the lates...

Re: Antenna lineup

There's an update on this issue from TMS. They are still researching the issue, but unfortunately it looks like this will require code changes on their part. They should have an ETA for us soon.

Re: Custom lineup still downloads all channels

I should add that if you are running the 0.20.2 release, or the latest 0.20-fixes or head from svn, then MythTV will cache the downloads for the full course of the mythfilldatabase run and so will only download the data once and reuse for the different lineups. The redownloading of data was a histor...

Re: MythTV Trunk vs .20 fixes vs xmltv

Okay -- I've taken a look. My database definitely now has recorded.programid as varchar(20) and oldrecorded.programid as varchar(20). And a "select * from recorded where length(programid) = 12;" returned the empty set. I'm afraid I can't tell you if it only happened after selecting the schedules di...

Re: Listings for satellite and OTA

I maintain two homes, each of which has a mythtv box. I read the terms that allow for 2 geographic area's but will two zipcodes that are geographically distant be allowed? If you have an apartment in Manhattan and a house in the nearby suburb of Westchester you can use one account. If you have an a...

Re: Cost

I actually think the networks themselves would want to promote what is on. There has been some controversy about this on various mailing lists. We learned a couple things putting SD together, one was that many tv stations are glad to tell us what is on, another was that they don't have most of that...

Re: ddClient

Will Schedules Direct be replacing or supporting the poc web services application that TMS provides in their ddClient.zip ? No, but TMS will probably continue to support the client for their commercial customers as DataDirect is continuing, just not Labs. Our service may not work with their example...

Re: Will sign up numbers be made public?

We are still working on the Privacy Policy, but it should allow us to make aggregate numbers available. As mentioned this will not give a true count of the total number of users of any particular application. However it should at least give some idea of the relative sizes of various projects, at lea...

Re: Zap2it Logo?

Why is there a Zap2it logo beside the listings?
Because we license some of the Zap2it branded listings products from TMS to provide our members with the licensed data. We're still working on making this logo look good within the context of our web page design and flow logically.

Re: Listings for satellite and OTA

Here, I can recieve both Buffalo and Toronto OTA stations. The Zap2it lines ups for either city did not include all of the OTA ATSC stations that I can recieve at my place. There is an answer to posted to the forum under the Frequently Asked Questions, but this hasn't made it to http://www.schedule...
