Re: SD is in violation of a Microsoft patent...?

 Hehe  Fortunately, we are required to notify members of changes under the Subscriber Agreement (which includes the Privacy Policy by reference) and current 9th circuit law (where our world headquarters are) so it sounds like we will not be in violation of the "Never Notify Me" patent. :lo...

Re: Line up changing tomorrow

Looks like they updated one of the listings to reflect the changes. I will have to reconfigure my inputs to use the new listings and run a mythfilldatabase --refresh -all or something like that. Does that sound like it will work? The option "--refresh-all" reloads all the listings data, you want to...

Re: Privacy policy?

I am not a lawyer and I can't comment on the Privacy Policy, but I'll just comment on some general related issues. We really can't hide your IP address from TMS or any other systems your IP address transits including your ISP, our ISP and various ISPs in between. This is simply the nature of the int...

Re: Advertising to Help Offset Costs ??

Besides that your model would not likely be legal because Schedules Direct is a non-profit. Schedules Direct could legally have ads, we would just have to pay full corporate taxes on the revenues, just like the non-profit Mozilla foundation has to do with the money they get from Google. But there a...

Re: Listings for satellite and OTA

I understand the concept of the second account per household, what's unclear is if I need to purchase the second account in order to cover the 3 weeks a year I spend in Maine or if the second account is part of my primary subscription. Or if I can add the separate two zip codes to my primary accoun...

Re: Adjust lineups from application?

Obviously, this didn't happen, but I think it would be great if I could add/remove channels directly from MythTV. Are there any (long-term) plans to implement this? See ticket #3842, http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/3842, line 2 of the TODO's. Adding an application friendly lineup management...

Re: College Football shown as repeat

There is a fix for this in SVN trunk. It should make it into 0.20-fixes within a few days, then packagers should push it out in a couple weeks.

Re: ANALOG only and ATSC only from 1 lineup. MYTHTV

Is it possible to use one OTA lineup to supply a only ANALOG channel lineup to the pvr card and a only DIGITAL to the HDHR source?
Yes, instructions are in the MythTV documentation in section 24.4.

Re: Extra data

Is TMS going to include DirectTV and Dish PPV info? I do not believe so, according to a post in Labs they only collect that data on behalf of those broadcasters and are limited by those broadcasters in what they can do with the data. Contracts change over time, but I have no reason to believe the r...
