Re: Returning shows season numbers

I'm using TheTVDB.com as my data source for TV shows & art, but they only list 1 SchedulesDirect ID for the series and I see it doesn't match the ID SD is now using so I have to figure that out. IMDB also lists it as one series with seasons 10 & 11 being the resumed seasons. With The X-Files, the SD...

Returning shows season numbers

Having problems with returning shows not getting the right season numbers. One example of this is Will & Grace with new episodes being marked as season 2 instead of season 11. Also problems with reboots where there is nothing to tell the difference between MacGyver (1985) and MacGyver (2016). Can an...

Re: Sports or live special?

That only tells me if a sports program is done at that time, that does nothing if the program I'm interested in is 2 hours later. It also is only 4 sports, Sunday night April 9th NCIS LA follows 60 Minutes which is after the Masters. The feature you mention does not catch golf, nor does it catch thi...

Sports or live special?

Is there a flag or flags that will help me identify programs that are likely to run long? I'm thinking of programs such as sports and things like presidential addresses. I want to make my DVR extend the end time of programs following things that may unexpected run long, but I am having trouble ident...

Re: Merged TV Listings

That's a bummer. All the ones I have seen have discreet intros and credits and are not "to be continued" episodes but rather discreet story lines.

Merged TV Listings

I have found that if a show is back to back it sometimes gets merged into one block. I pull listings for Indianapolis metro OTA (zip 46033 to be specific) and ABC had a 2-hour block listed for Agent Carter on 2/16 and another one is listed for 2/23 from 9pm to 11pm, but it is actually two different ...

Re: Requirement for Deflate?

Even just updating the documentation would be helpful. I have been chasing it down for hours before I realized I should capture it with fiddler and then I saw the message about deflate. Could have saved lots of time just having it in the documentation.

Re: 20131021 headends

The documentation and the result I get return it with each lineup as an attribute and the details about that lineup are the value. There's no square bracket [] around the lineups so the object is referecned as jsonObject.60030 instead of jsonObject[0]. I also see some others return multiple JSONs in...

20131021 headends

Is there a technical reason that the result of headends isn't an array? It's more difficult to read through the results since it is not an array.
