Re: Feature Requests for API 20140504

Hey Rob, I'm not sure why you would want the discussion to happen here. I think that github is great for managing bugs and features. Best of all, it lets me filter by open and closed and I can see just my issues. The forum is great for general discussion but it it's painful to sort through and track...

Re: API 20131021 will implement a REST interface

When I try to get a token, I send: { "username": "cwchapma" "password": "sha1hex" } but keep getting: { "response": "INVALID_JSON", "code": 1001, "serverID": "AWS-SD-web.1", "message": "Unable to decode JSON", "datetime": "2014-04-30T14:49:13Z" } I'm assuming the spots you give the format as {"usern...

Renewed account

Rob, I renewed my account today after it had expired. I tried to test https://github.com/SchedulesDirect/JSON-Service/issues/4 but it says my account is still expired. I'm guessing this is maybe something that is updated daily and that it will work tomorrow? If that's the case, I think this needs to...

Re: .Net JSON client

BTW, My .NET client is now available on Nuget:

https://nuget.org/packages/SchedulesDirect.Json/

Enjoy! It's still beta but most of it should work.

Re: Programs and metadata

And that was fine, until thetvdb was essentially hard-down for a few weeks because of their CloudFlare configuration. At that point, the metadata became a blocker on the daily program generation, so it was split out of the main JSON data for each program and put into a separate table. Yes, I search...

Re: Programs and metadata

Yeah, now I just need to convince Robert to provide a bug/feature tracker to track these things. I hate using forums for tracking feature requests. Either way, I think we should document this for the next api release. I agree - it's brutal trying to track issues in the forum. I suggested we use the...

Re: Programs and metadata

Slugger, thanks again for the input. You're right, there's something I obviously don't understand about the server implementation and I'm likely making too many assumptions. The main thing is that we agree that the multiple files in a zip ( the same as the other commands) is preferred. You're also r...

Re: Programs and metadata

Hey slugger, thanks for the feedback but I'm not quite swayed yet. I don't think it should be an issue on the server to add brackets and commas and each programs metadata could still be on separate line. That said, the real problem I have is this is a unique format from every other command. I'd even...
