Multiple Genres For SD-DD Service?

The SD-DD Service seems to still have only one Genre for a program. Past posts indicated that the issue would be addressed. >> The SD-DD service now only returns one Genre (with a relevance of 0). >> Multiple Genres starting with 1 in random order was causing problems for MythTV. >> The missing Genr...

Does anyone have an example Perl script?

Long, long ago I discovered XMLTV when it was still a "scraper". Used it as a basis for my strictly-for-personal use "scraper". When Zap2It labs started offering schedule data, I had never even heard of SOAP. So, again, I looked at the XMLTV grabber code as an example. Now, seven years later, I find...

Re: Inaccurate Listings: Rede Globo TV Internacional (xml 21

I have been a subscriber to Rede Globo for 6 or 7 years now. The issue is not a Schedules Direct issue. It is a Rede Globo issue. Even the scheduled times listed on the Rede Globo website (http://tvglobointernacional.globo.com/grade.aspx) are often off by as much as 30 minutes. I have the same issue...

Programming has now shifted to match the schedule data

Last weekend when Italy switched over to Daylight Saving Time the programming shifted back an hour. Now everything is in sync.

I hate DST. What an anachronism!

A big thanks to Robert K. for his assistance.

Re: Lingering Daylight Saving Time Issue

Thanks for the reply. I had forgotten about the ticket system (don't spend much time changing lineups). It might be good to link to the the "Report a Lineup Problem" form somewhere on the forum. If it's already linked, it's well hidden. I couldn't find it in anywhere on the forum, including the anno...

Lingering Daylight Saving Time Issue

On my Dish Network Lineup I still have one channel that is one hour off. Most of the DST issues faded within a few days. But channel #9846 (MDSET - Mediaset Italia) (Station ID == 69529) is still one hour off. A program listed to start at 9:00 will actually start at 10:00. Is there any way to get th...

Nevermind, my error

My browser had stored my old login credentials.

I looked in my email archives and found that I changed my login/password when I changed my email address.

Thanks anyway.

Password won't work, and my email has changed.

Ouch!! I tried to login with my data service username/password. I get an error message -> Error: 1. Unrecognized password; please try again. I no longer have access to the email address I originally used to sign up. This means that the password reset is not an option. What can I do to resolve this i...

Original Source Of XML Tags

After digging around I found a copy of XMLTV version 0.5.31. It seems to be from 2004. XMLTV was my inspiration for the script I wrote. Code from XMLTV version 0.5.31 my $got = $soap->download("<startTime>$dd_start</startTime><endTime>$dd_stop</endTime>"); Here is the same code from the current vers...

The Issue Appears To Be XML Tags

I got my script to work. This was the primary difference between the sample Perl script and my script: Code From Sample Script - my $raw_data=$soap->download($START,$STOP); Code From My Script - $xtvddoc = $soapconn->download("<startTime>$starttime</startTime><endTime>$endtime</endTime>"); Those tag...
