Re: Has SchedulesDirect stopped supporting WinXP?

We're seeing what we can do. Can NextPVR accept an XMLTV feed? If so, you can use an XMLTV utility to get data from SD-JSON or SD-DD (if in the US/Canada) Sure - switching to xmltv, or upgrading Windows were the options we gave on the NextPVR forums when the cause of the problem was first identifie...

Re: 20131021 headends

I'd like to be able to give you a more strong direction, but the reality is I'm still easing my way into json (after using xml for this type of stuff for years), and I haven't got a lot of strong opinions on how the data should be structured. I can understand some developers would have wanted /sched...

Re: Auto migration from data direct to json

The post also mentioned a new service is being built to mimic data direct - will this be available before the real data direct service is taken down, and will it be prepopulated with their users existing lineup info? Of course I'd like to have it ready before the old service goes away! I've actuall...

Re: Auto migration from data direct to json

•You may perform 6 "adds" in a 24 hour period. The status response will indicate the number of lineup changes remaining.
Can this be limit be removed while I'm testing auto migration? or set to some very high number?

Auto migration from data direct to json

I had considered a mass migration, but there are users who implemented kludges to their accounts to try to workaround issues with the old XML service. New service, new configuration method. If you want to hide things from the user, your client already knows which lineups the user has; if you're in ...

Re: TMS dropping Data Direct!!! But no reason to panic.

I've updated the documentation at https://github.com/SchedulesDirect/JSON-Service/wiki/API-20140530 it puts the client tasks at the top so that you'll know the sequence to follow. I had already read this, but these sounded like the steps for a new user - not a user who has already been using SD for...

Re: TMS dropping Data Direct!!! But no reason to panic.

Thanks for the info - but that news sucks majorly, since I can't just make changes to my grabber behind scenes to switch to the new data service without the user knowing. I really don't want my users to have to worry about this, and don't want them to go through the pain of remapping channels to a n...

Re: TMS dropping Data Direct!!! But no reason to panic.

Actually, I see that 400 response did have a body, telling me there was no lineups. Why is that? I can see my lineup on the website.

Re: TMS dropping Data Direct!!! But no reason to panic.

I've got a couple of questions. 1) Can you tell me if the station IDs are the same between the old TMS service and the new JSON service? ie, so that I can pass existing TMS station ID mappings stored against my user's channels to the new json service. I'm hoping to avoid forcing my users to set up t...
