Re: SD for Android Phones

I'm currently trying to pick up where WhatsOn left off, but I'm focusing on grabbing and storing the data on Android at the moment, the main issue is the sheer amount of data that SD provides is too much for Android, it only has a 16MB (25MB at a push) heap. 24 hours of listings data takes 8MB whic...

Re: SD for Android Phones

Has all work on Whatson been abandoned? The website looked promising, but hasn't been updated since 2009.

Installing twteak into PTV Manager process

OK, possibly I am being a bit too thick, and I am not seeing the obvious. How exactly do I install/use tvtweak ??? Right now, I open the PTV Manager on my PC, and click on the "Start Download" button. It then downloads the TV listings from here (schedulesdirect), and upon completion, has the file th...

Re: Pocket TV Browser

I see that Pocket TV Browser has a version for Windows CE. Will that work? To answer my own question, I installed PTVB on my new Win Mobile 6.1 device, and PTVB appears to execute. However, it doesn't seem to be able to find the .pdb file. I have tried putting into the same directory that the execu...

Re: Smartphone App from tv.zaval.org??

As far as I can tell. Zaval has abandoned their Windows Mobile version of their software, and continue to support only their Palm version (now called Advanced TV Guide). Anyway, with the complete lack of any other alternative, I did mange to find and download the .cab for their last version of their...

Re: Pocket TV Browser

I have been using Pocket TV Browser on my (now pretty old) Palm based Garmin PDA. I even made a donation to Pocket TV Browser back when I first started to use it, I was so pleased. Plus, I have been downloading here from Schedules Direct since that switch over started. However, my life is moving for...

I, too, am looking for a good application to view my TV listings, on a Windows Mobile based cell phone (like a XV6900)

Lineups in "real" channels?

My TV has a QAM tuner. So, I get the "real" channel numbers, and not the re-mapped channel numbers used by my cable company's digital STB. For example, 112-2 instead of 510.

Is there any chance to ever get a lineup offered that uses those "real" channel numbers?
